How is my balance calculated?
This number is calculated by aggregating your account balances from the exchanges and DeFi applications that you have connected. Calico is also applying data from our market data providers. To that end, data vendors apply varying methodologies to calculate market prices depending on availability, exchange, and DeFi application data. Exchanges may also provide you with more comprehensive information on their site than they make available to you via an API (for example, historical trade data cover longer periods on their site). Due to these, and other, external factors, balances displayed on Calico may potentially differ from balances on the different apps you use.
What happens if I close my exchange accounts or delete my wallets?
Closing your exchange account will automatically delete your API key for that account. This will reflect a zero balance in the Calico app. Similarly, deleting a wallet will also result in a zero balance reflected in the app.
